Colorado wildlife photos are always available if you can get outside and be prepared. Here are some of my favorite wildlife photos I recently ran across in my library.
Bobcat attacks deer: A close friend of my wife was driving west of Colorado Springs when he drove up on this. A bobcat was attacking a deer. Let’s just say he eventually wins.
Colorado Elk, Deer and Coyote Photos: I took these photos in Rocky Mountain National Park. I asked the all the animals to pose and this is what they gave me.
Mule Deer in Colorado Springs: Both of these deer were on the West side of the city. I took the first one and the other was sent to me by my good friend Joe Wuertz.
HUNTERS ONLY: These pictures are intended for those who like to hunt. DO NOT CONTINUE if don’t like that kind of thing.
Mule deer photos:

My uncle Dee harvested this New Mexico mule deer on public land in 2012.
It was a little over 28 inches wide. He has not had it officially scored yet.

This was another trophy mule deer harvested just south of Melrose, New Mexico.
This mule deer was taken on private land and let’s just say it cost a chunk of change.
I’ll be getting out this spring in order to take some more Colorado wildlife photos. If you have some great wildlife photos on your blog, leave me a link in the comments so I can check them out.
Fabulous pictures. I especially enjoyed the picture of the bobcat bringing down the deer. Amazing, especially when you consider the difference in their size. I have heard stories of bobcats jumping on the deers back but that one looks like he just grabbed on and held him till the deer went down.
Rob,
Thanks for your comment. Yes, some pretty “wild” pictures. My favorite is also the Bobcat. Thanks again.
